How To Get To Magnetic Island

Passenger Ferry

The Sea Link passenger ferry leaves from the Breakwater Terminal in Townsville and offers up to 17 ferry services, departing daily from Townsville and Magnetic Island. The ferry transfer takes approximately 20 minutes. Bookings are not required on any of SeaLink’s Magnetic Island ferry services, however we do recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your chosen service to allow time to purchase your tickets and board.

Vehicle Ferry

The Vehicle Ferry is located on Ross Street located 8km from Townsville main centre. Bookings are Essential.
